Primavera Risk Analysis course

After the implementation of the solution, this course is aimed both at learning how to use the IT solution named Primavera Risk Analysis, as well as gaining the theoretical knowledge necessary to use it at full capacity.

Structure of the course

Day 1. Is intended to provide a better understanding to the main concepts of risk management:

    • Theoretical concepts related to risk management
    • Planning based on time margins
    • Using alternative distributions
    • Quantitative analysis of the risk
    • Interpreting the results of the risk analysis
    • Probabilistic events
    • Alternative graphs (with different probabilities)
    • Interpreting the results
    • Means used to obtain the data
    • Entering data in the risk register
    • Correlation of theory and practice

Day 2. Practical exercises, which cover various topic related to risk management, such as:

    • Advanced theory of the time and cost risk analysis
    • Models to associate the qualitative and quantitative risks
    • Risk mitigation – cost-benefit analysis
    • Cost management, probabilistic cash flow
    • Probabilistic and conditional branching
    • Introduction to the usage of macros
    • Integration with MS Project and/or Primavera

Day 3. Simulations of risk analyses with data from a project of the client to cover the whole risk analysis process

Duration

The duration of the course is of 3 days, 6 hours/day. The planning of the course is set by mutually agreement to respect as much as possible the work program of the client.

It is a practical quick training guide which covers the configuration and usage of the RiskALERT solution.
