Ensure implementation of and compliance to the international Project Management standard
Planning and Controlling the activities in coordination with other team members (Project Manager, other planners)
Periodic reporting to the Project Manager
Establish progress measurement methodology for the project plans
Coordination of planning / reporting activities
Development of the planning activities for the project phases, in full integration (also as concerns software compatibility/consistency of the adopted scheduling tools) with the overall EPC project schedule
Produce detailed scheduling and monitoring of activities (i.e. by discipline /area, by subcontractors/vendor, with identification of schedule interfaces between different subcontractors/vendors working in same area, etc.)
Planning and control of the physical progress curves (S curves) for the project phase (i.e. by discipline/trade, subcontractor/vendor …), in accordance with the companies procedures
Production, analysis and collection of detailed progress report sheets
Planning and control of the project schedules including all phases from engineering and construction to commissioning and start-up
Elaborate the critical path analysis
Perform “at the earliest” and/or “at the latest” schedule analysis as well as float management
Perform productivity trend analysis
Produce workload histograms (i.e. by discipline/area, subcontractor/vendor, etc.)
Revision of the actual/forecast dates vs. the baseline target, with identification/suggestion of the possible recovery actions and/or mitigations and/or accelerations
Production of any weekly/monthly reporting according to the companies needs and standards
Revision, analysis and/or comments on the detailed scheduling and on the progress reporting submitted by subcontractors and/or vendors
Participate to all periodic project review/progress meetings, according to client’s needs and requests
