Project Planner

  • Ensure implementation of and compliance to the international Project Management standard
  • Planning and Controlling the activities in coordination with other team members (Project Manager, other planners)
  • Periodic reporting to the Project Manager
  • Establish progress measurement methodology for the project plans
  • Coordination of planning / reporting activities
  • Development of the planning activities for the project phases, in full integration (also as concerns software compatibility/consistency of the adopted scheduling tools) with the overall EPC project schedule
  • Produce detailed scheduling and monitoring of activities (i.e. by discipline /area, by subcontractors/vendor, with identification of schedule interfaces between different subcontractors/vendors working in same area, etc.)
  • Planning and control of the physical progress curves (S curves) for the project phase (i.e. by discipline/trade, subcontractor/vendor …), in accordance with the companies procedures
  • Production, analysis and collection of detailed progress report sheets
  • Planning and control of the project schedules including all phases from engineering and construction to commissioning and start-up
  • Elaborate the critical path analysis
  • Perform “at the earliest” and/or “at the latest” schedule analysis as well as float management
  • Perform productivity trend analysis
  • Produce workload histograms (i.e. by discipline/area, subcontractor/vendor, etc.)
  • Revision of the actual/forecast dates vs. the baseline target, with identification/suggestion of the possible recovery actions and/or mitigations and/or accelerations
  • Production of any weekly/monthly reporting according to the companies needs and standards
  • Revision, analysis and/or comments on the detailed scheduling and on the progress reporting submitted by subcontractors and/or vendors
  • Participate to all periodic project review/progress meetings, according to client’s needs and requests
